Driving Directions
From Harrisburg:
US 15 north, just past Liverpool make a left (crossing 2 lanes) onto PA Rte 104 north. Follow 104 north through Middleburg and all the way to PA Rte 45 (Stop Sign, “T” Intersection) in Mifflinburg and make a left onto Rte 45 west.
Follow Rte 45 for approximately 8 miles (go the speed limit through Hartleton). About a mile or so past Hartleton (Boomerangs Bar, then Penn’s Creek Angler on Left) make a left onto Fairgrounds Road. Go about 1 mile to the stop sign, then “dog leg” across Rte 235 (left and a QUICK right) onto Hassenplug Road. Go about 1 mile to the stop sign and make a right onto Weikert Road.
Take Weikert Road about 3 miles to Weikert. You will pass Union Co Sportsmen’s Club on the left. Continue through Weikert for approximately 3 miles or so. The road will narrow and you will go SLOW through a series of turns where cabins are close to the road and then the road will straighten out. You will cross a small bridge “Cherry Run” and continue STRAIGHT (No Outlet is what you want). Go about 100 yards and we are the first cabin on the left (brown cabin and sets down off the road). We are across from the first and only cabin on the right.
From Route 522:
Take Route 235 North at Beaver Springs (left hand turn coming from Lewistown) and follow 235 into Troxelville.
In Troxelville make a right at the stop sign, go through town (about .5 mile) and make a left continuing to follow 235 North over the mountain.
When you get to the bottom of the mountain you will cross over Penn’s Creek (in the town of Glen Iron) and make and immediate left onto SR3004 after crossing the bridge
Go about 2 – 3 miles and make a right onto Trails End Road.
Go about 1 mile on Trails End Road (lots of curves) to the stop sign and make a left onto Weikert Road.
You will pass the Union County Sportsmen’s Club on the left and go through the village of Weikert.
Continue on Weikert Road for another 3 miles. The road will narrow and you will go through some curves with cabins on both sides of the road.
Continue for about a half mile and cross over a little Orange Bridge (Cherry Run).
Continue straight. Sign should say Dead End. Do NOT turn right onto Cherry Run Road!
After you cross Cherry Run continue straight for about 100 yards. There will be a brown cabin on your right. Stop and look down the hill to your left and you will see our cabin (brown).
From I-80 West of State College:
Take I-80 East to
PA 26 South to
PA 144 South to
PA 45 East at Centre Hall.
Stay on PA 45 through Spring Mills, Milheim and Aaronsburg.
Go past Woodward Camp and into the village of Woodward.
As you are passing through Woodward the road will begin a gradual ascent (houses on both sides of the road) GO SLOW and look for a Church Sign on the right (In the shape of a shield) make a right onto Woodward Gap Road (dirt road). It will first appear as if you are pulling into a driveway of the house at that point!
Take Woodward Gap road over the first mountain.
At the bottom of the mountain continue straight (bearing right rather than taking the very sharp left onto Bear Gap Rd). You will still be on Woodward Gap Road which will turn into Cherry Run Road.
At the end of Cherry Run Road make a right at the “T” Stop Sign. Sign will designate No Outlet or Dead End – That’s okay.
Go about 100 yards and the cabin will be on the left. Green Cabin sets down off the road across from the first cabin on the right.
Option (longer and more time, but all paved):
Pass through Woodward, staying on PA 45 East for another 8? miles.
Make a right onto PA 235 and proceed for about a mile or so to the first intersection (Fairgrounds will be on the left).
Make a right onto Hassenplug Road. Go about 1 mile to the stop sign and make a right onto Weikert Road.

From US 15 South (Northern PA & NY):
Take US 15 South to Lewisburg, PA. Make a right onto PA 45 West and proceed through the town of Mifflinburg. Continue on Route 45 West.
